On defense, FIU held Arkansas State to 385 total yards, but gave up 238 rushing yards to the Wolves. FIU was led by quarterback Wesley Carroll, who threw for 223 yards and one touchdown.
Troy is riding a two-game losing streak after a 38-10 loss to Louisiana-Monroe in week 7. The Trojans have yet to win on the road this season. On the year, Troy is scoring just 22.7 points per game, while allowing 34.7 points per game. Troy’s scoring defense ranks 110th in the country. On offense, Troy is 108th in rushing at just 102.7 yards per game, but the Trojans are 16th nationally in passing at 298.7 yards per game. Corey Robinson has thrown for 1,779 yards and nine touchdowns on the season.
In terms of Injuries, Troy defensive lineman Shermaine TeArt and receiver Adrian Hill are both questionable with shoulder injuries while FIU receivers Willis Wright (knee) and Rockey Vann (elbow) are both listed as questionable.
