Northern Illinois looks to lock up a spot in the MAC Championship tonight when the Huskies host Ohio at 7:30PM ET on ESPNU.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Northern Illinois is favored at home, as the Huskies are getting odds of -13.5 points against Ohio. The over/under total for the game has been set at 56 points. The home team has won four of the last six in this series, but Ohio is 4-1 against the spread in the last five of this series.

Northern Illinois is 8-3 overall, 6-1 in the MAC, 7-2-2 against the spread and 6-5 with the over. The Huskies are coming off a 27-19 win over Western Michigan last week. They have won six straight to put themselves in position to win the MAC West with a win tonight. NIU is averaging 35.8 points and 450.9 yards per game on offense this season while the defense is allowing 24.7 points and 391.3 yards per game. Ryan Graham has thrown for 511 yards and five touchdowns in place of the injured Drew Hare. The offense is led by Joel Bouagnon, who has run for 1,176 yards and 18 touchdowns. Kenny Golladay has added 64 receptions for 1,035 yards and eight touchdowns.

Ohio is 7-4 on the season, 4-3 in the MAC, 7-4 against the spread and 7-4 with the over. The Bobcats are coming off a 48-31 win over Ball State last week for their second straight victory. Ohio is averaging 27.5 points and 428 yards per game on offense this season while the defense is giving up 25.2 points and 377.7 yards per contest. Derrius Vick has thrown for 1,807 yards and 10 touchdowns this season but is questionable with an ankle injury for tonight. Sebastian Smith is the leading receiver with 59 receptions for 723 yards and seven scores while Daz’mond Patterson has run for 497 yards and nine touchdowns.
