Florida State favored by just 4 vs. Georgia Tech in ACC Championship

CHARLOTTE, NC (The Spread) – No. 2 Florida State wasn’t favored by much over No. 12 Georgia Tech to start the week and the spread isn’t any higher for today’s ACC Championship.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Florida State is a slim favorite in this title game, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -4 points against Georgia Tech in tonight’s 8PM ET kickoff on ABC (View Matchup). The over/under total for the game is listed at 61 points.

The opening odds for this game had Florida State favored by 5.5 points. The spread was never higher than that and it hit a low of 3 points during the week before eventually settling in at 4. These two have had two of their last three meetings feature a spread of just 3 points. All other meetings since 1997 have been spreads of 8 points or more. FSU has been favored by 4 points or less twice in their last 10 games, and the Seminoles covered in both games. Georgia Tech has covered in its last three games as an underdog.
