CHARLOTTE, NC (The Spread) – Two ranked teams meet up in today’s Belk Bowl as No. 13 Georgia will face No. 21 Louisville at 6:30 PM ET.

Georgia ended its season with a 30-24 loss in overtime to rival Georgia Tech. The Bulldogs finished with a 9-3 overall record and a 6-2 mark in the SEC. The Bulldogs are 7-5 against the spread this year, but they covered in five of their last seven games while hitting the over in seven of their last 10.

Louisville finished its season with a 44-40 win over Kentucky. The Cardinals won their last three games to go 9-3 on the season and 5-3 in the ACC. Like Georgia, Louisville was 7-5 against the spread this season, but they were just 2-3 ATS in its last five. The Cardinals hit the over in their last four games.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Georgia is favored to win this game, as the Bulldogs are getting odds of -7 points against Louisville. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 56.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

The interesting matchup in this game will be the Georgia running game against the Louisville run defense. The Cardinals have one of the top ground defenses in the nation, allowing just 94.9 yards per game. Georgia piles up the running yards, as they average 255 yards per game on the ground. Nick Chubb has rushed for 1,281 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead Georgia and he will be the focal point in today’s game.
