Georgia Bulldogs Game Notes
Stetson Bennett completed 17-of-25 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns Saturday against Tennessee, while also rushing for a 13-yard score in the 27-13 win. Bennett has at least two touchdown passes in each of the last three games for the Bulldogs, who certainly look like the No. 1 team in the country and definitively the best team in the SEC with Alabama’s two losses. A high-octane matchup at Mississippi State next weekend should allow for more touchdowns for Bennett.
Mississippi State Bulldogs Game Notes
Will Rogers completed 42-of-59 passes for 357 yards, three touchdowns and one pick Saturday at Auburn. Rogers went over the 300-yard mark for the sixth time in 2022. He also tossed at least three touchdowns in a game for the sixth time this season. Unfortunately, an extremely difficult task lurks against Georgia next weekend.
