Bet College Football Week 10 Games

PUBLIC BETTING: As of this writing, over 55% of tickets are on West Virginia.

SERIES TRENDS: The Cyclones have failed to cover in four of their last five games versus the Mountaineers. The favorite is also 4-1 against the number in the last five meetings, but the road team has covered in four of the last five games in this series.

OUR PREDICTION: West Virginia’s defense has sprouted a leak. In their last three games, the Mountaineers have allowed 40 points per game on average. On the other side, Iowa State allowed just one touchdown in its last two weeks but was also out-gained on the ground 173-53 last week versus TCU. The Cyclones will have their hands full with quarterback Will Grier and a WVU offense that averages 43 points per game. In other words, I think ISU’s defense will crack at some point and if the floodgates are going to open, it’ll likely be this weekend in a potential shootout.

The over is 6-2 in the Cyclones’ last eight games in November and is 7-3-1 in their last 11 games after allowing less than 20 points in their previous contest. On the other side, the over is a perfect 4-0 in the Mountaineers’ last four home games, is 6-1-1 in their last eight games overall and has cashed in four of their last five conference games.
