Wildcats coming off bye
The Kansas State football team is coming off a 31-24 win at Mississippi State two weeks ago. They had an off week last week before starting Big 12 play. K-State is 3-0 on the year, 3-0 against the spread and 2-1 with the over.
The Wildcats have been great defensively this year, allowing just 12.7 points and 256 yards per game. The K-State offense is putting up 44 points and 454.3 yards per contest, including 280 rushing yards per game. James Gilbert is leading the ground attack with 277 yards and three touchdowns. Skylar Thompson has thrown for 486 yards and four touchdowns while Malik Knowles has caught nine passes for 137 yards and two scores.
Oklahoma State falls at Texas
The Oklahoma State football team suffered its first loss of the season last week in a 36-30 defeat at Texas to start Big 12 play. The Cowboys are 3-1 on the year, 0-1 in the Big 12, 4-0 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total.
The Cowboys are one of the stronger offenses in the nation, putting up 44.5 points and 533.8 yards per game. Defensively, Oklahoma State is giving up 26.8 points and 415 yards per contest. Chuba Hubbard has rushed for 642 yards and nine touchdowns to lead the offense while Spencer Sanders has thrown for 890 yards and seven touchdowns. He has also rushed for 328 yards and two scores. Tylan Wallace is the leading receiver with 20 catches for 473 yards and six touchdowns.
College Football Betting Trends
Kansas State
The Wildcats have hit the under in six of their last seven games on fieldturf and in seven of their last 10 conference games.
Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State has hit the over in 11 of its last 15 conference games and in six of its last eight following a loss.
Prediction:
These two hit the under last year at Kansas State, but had hit the over in seven straight meetings prior to that. The reason the under hit last year is because the Cowboys had just 12 points. Oklahoma State is going to score in this game. The Cowboys have put up at least 30 points in every game and had 56 in its lone home game this year. Kansas State is likely to score a fair amount against this OK-State defense as well. I like the over to hit comfortably.
