They’re also just 2-5 against the number in their last seven games versus a team with a w inning record and have failed to cover the spread in nine of their last 11 games after allowing more than 280 yards passing in their previous contest.

TCU KEY TRENDS: The Horned Frogs have been even worse against the spread than the Wildcats, failing to cover in eight of their last 11 games overall. They’re also just 2-6 at the betting window in their last eight conference games and are winless at 0-6 against the number in their last six home games. They’re 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following win of more than 20 points as well.

OUR PREDICTION: I flat out don’t trust TCU. The Horned Frogs are playing better defensively right now than at any point this season but their offense has been an inconsistent mess all season. Kansas State isn’t flashy, but the Wildcats are usually well prepared under coach Bill Snyder and they always play hard. With the Frogs already locking down a bowl berth last Saturday, who knows where their motivation level will be for this one. If anything, I think K-State will keep the game close and this should be a field goal final for either side.
