Kansas vs. Missouri Free Pick
Before they take the field against Kansas on Saturday, Missouri’s fate in the Big 12 will have already been sealed. Can the Tigers get a Nebraska loss and a win over Kansas to get into the Big 12 title game?
According to latest college football odds, oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Missouri a 24.5-point favorite over Kansas in Week 13. The over/under total for this game is currently 51 points, which is rather low for a college game.
The Jayhawks hung with Oklahoma State for about a half last week before eventually falling to 3-8 on the year. They’re 0-4 on the road this year and according to latest college football trends, they’re 2-2 against the number away from home.
The Tigers are 9-2 overall and have covered in six of their 11 games this year. They’re a perfect 5-0 at home this season and have covered in three of their five games at home. (Although it’s important to note that this game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium – not Faurot Field.)
College Football Week 13 Free Pick:
The Tigers need Nebraska to lose to Colorado on Friday and then beat the Jayhawks on Saturday in order to go to the Big 12 title game. That’s probably not going to happen (the Nebraska losing to Colorado part), so things get a little tricky on Saturday. If they know they’re out of contention in the Big 12, will the Tigers put up a lackluster effort against the Jayhawks? It’s certainly a possibility, although we think the reverse will happen. If Nebraska wins and Missouri is knocked out, then the Tigers won’t have any pressure on them for the Kansas game. And although we envision the Jayhawks putting up a fight, we think Blaine Gabbert and Co. will eventually cruise to a lopsided victory. Kansas is 3-9 against the number versus a team with a winning record and 4-11 ATS in its last 15 conference games. Our pick is Missouri minus the points.
