Flashes struggle on the road
Kent State is coming off a 62-20 win over Bowling Green at home, but the Flashes have lopsided road losses to Arizona State and Auburn this year. Overall, Kent State is 2-2 on the year, 2-2 against the spread and 2-2 with the over/under total.
The Golden Flashes are giving up 32 points and 471.3 yards per game on defense this year while putting up 27.8 points and 402 yards per game. Dustin Crum has thrown for 697 yards and five touchdowns to lead the offense while also rushing for 140 yards. Jo-El Shaw is the leading rusher on the team with 278 yards and two touchdowns. Isaiah McKoy is the leading receiver with 18 catches for 288 yards and three touchdowns.

The Badgers are pretty dominant on both sides of the ball. Wisconsin is allowing just 7.3 points and 192.3 yards per contest defensively. The offense is putting up 42.3 points and 441 yards per game this year. Jonathan Taylor has rushed for 559 yards and eight touchdowns this season to lead the Wisconsin offense. The defense is being led by Zack Baun, who has 20 tackles and three sacks.
College Football Betting Trends
Kent State
The Golden Flashes have hit the under in four straight games in October, but has hit the over in four straight following a win.
Kansas
The Jayhawks have hit the over in four of their last five against MAC opponents and in 10 of their last 14 games following a failed cover.
Prediction:
Wisconsin got a little bit of a test last weekend, but it only impacted their offense. The Badgers have given up just 29 points through four games this year. I don’t see Kent State solving the Wisconsin puzzle. The Badgers should be able to run the ball all over the Flashes, but its possible the offense could be a little unmotivated for this game and the Badgers may try to just get out of this week healthy. Wisconsin should win comfortably, but I think the game will go under the total.
College Football Week 6 Prediction: Kent State/Wisconsin Under 57.5
