Kentucky vs. Georgia Predictions Against the Spread 11/18/17

Kentucky vs. Georgia Prediction

Will the Kentucky Wildcats at least hang with the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday following the Dawgs’ loss to Auburn last week? Kickoff for this SEC matchup is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.

ODDSMAKERS LIKE: Georgia. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bulldogs are 21.5-point home favorites to beat the Wildcats, who opened as 23.5-point road underdogs. The total, meanwhile, sits at 50 points after hitting the board at 51.

THE PUBLIC LIKES: Georgia. As of Saturday morning, just under 60% of betting tickets are on the Bulldogs to cover the massive spread.

HISTORICAL TRENDS LIKE: Georgia. The favorite is a perfect 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams and subsequently, so is Georgia. The Wildcats, meanwhile, are just 2-5 against the number in their last seven trips to Athens.

WHO WE LIKE: Georgia. I just don’t trust Kentucky and the Bulldogs figure to be angry following their loss to Auburn last week. Georgia is 5-1 at the betting window in its last six games coming off a loss and is 4-1 against the number in its last five games after accumulating less than 100 yards rushing in its previous game. Kentucky doesn’t have Auburn’s front seven so look for the Dawgs’ running game to get back on track today.

Meanwhile, Kentucky is just 1-4 against the spread in its last five conference games and 1-5 against the number in its last six games overall. The Wildcats are also 5-13 against the spread in their last 18 games played in November, are 2-7 against the number in their last nine games coming off a win of more than 20 points, and are winless at 0-5 at the betting window in their last five games played on grass.
