Bullock throws for 233 yards vs. K-State

Evan Bullock went 23-for-30 for 233 yards against KSU on Saturday. He didn’t get a touchdown against a bad team, but the redshirt freshman finishes his first season as a starter with a 67.3 completion percentage with 14 touchdowns against two picks. Bullock is the favorite to start in 2025. However, he needs to get more mobile (minus-109 rushing yards) and hold onto the ball (seven fumbles).

Daily stifled by Navy

Bryson Daily was 7-for-16 passing for 65 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions during Saturday’s 31-13 loss against Navy. He also had 19 rushes for 52 yards. Daily was held to just 117 total yards and three interceptions as the Black Knights fell to the Midshipmen. The 6-foot senior quarterback has thrown for 942 yards (52-of-94), nine touchdowns and four interceptions on the year, adding on 1,526 yards and 29 scores on the ground. Daily and the Black Knights will face off against LA Tech next Saturday.

Louisiana Tech vs. Army Prediction

Take Louisiana Tech. I’ve backed Army throughout the season. At times, the Black Knights have felt like an absolute wagon. I also backed them in their annual game against Navy and what I saw leads me to today’s selection of LA Tech.

Taking nothing away from Navy’s victory, Army looked gassed. It makes sense too, as the Black Knights have already played 13 games this season. Coming off their impressive 35-14 dismantling of Tulane, Army actually looked like a team that has played more games than anyone else in the country.

The game against Navy was just a few weeks ago. Thus, it’s not as if the Black Knights had a full month to rest and recoup. The Bulldogs finished with a 5-7 record and are one of the worst teams playing this bowl season. However, they’re 8-4 against the number this season, covering five straight numbers to end the season. They were double-digit underdogs in all but one of those matchups, so they’re used to beating oddsmakers’ numbers.

Louisiana Tech vs. Army Prediction: Louisiana Tech Bulldogs +14
