Louisville Cardinals Game Notes
Jack Plummer completed 18-of-21 passes for 388 yards and five touchdowns while adding a rushing touchdown in Saturday’s 56-28 win over Boston College. Plummer had his biggest game of the season against Boston College as he racked up six touchdowns on the day. Plummer and the Cardinals will need to continue on their upward trend as they go to Raleigh to faceoff with NC State and then will face Notre Dame.
N.C. State Wolf Pack Game Notes
Brennan Armstrong completed 15-of-30 passes for 180 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. Armstrong added 15 carries for 64 yards in Friday’s 24-21 win over Virginia. Armstrong had a less than spectacular outing but it was enough to get a win. The Wolfpack offense will continue to be run through the talented lefty Armstrong, with Louisville coming to Raleigh next week Armstrong will NC State will look for a bit more from Armstrong.

Louisville vs. N.C. State Betting Prediction
I’m backing the home dog tonight. The final score of the Wolf Pack’s 45-24 loss to Notre Dame was misleading. N.C. State gave the Fighting Irish a fight for three quarters until the wheels fell off. Granted, the Wolf Pack should have also handled UConn and Virginia easier than they did, but they controlled those games nonetheless. There’s no question Louisville has the better, more explosive offense in this matchup. That said, have the Cardinals been tested? Georgia Tech, Murray State, Indiana and Boston College. Good wins, but do any of those teams have the defensive front that N.C. State possess? I see tonight’s game going down to the wire, so I’ll take the 3.5 points and tuck them in my back pocket.
