According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Ohio State is the heavy favorite in this game, as the Buckeyes are getting odds of -33.5 points against the Terrapins. The over/under total for the game has been set at 55 points. These two met last season with Ohio State getting a 52-24 win over Maryland on the road.

Ohio State is 5-0 on the season, 1-0 in the Big Ten, 1-4 against the spread and 4-1 with the under. The Buckeyes got a scare last week, holding on for a 34-27 win at Indiana. Ohio State now has two wins decided by 7 points this year. Ohio State is posting 34.4 points and 452.2 yards per game on offense this season while the defense is allowing just 15.2 points and 283 yards per game. Ezekiel Elliott is leading the offense with 729 rushing yards and eight touchdowns while Cardale Jones has thrown for 867 yards and five touchdowns, but also has five interceptions.

Maryland is 2-3 on the season, 0-1 in the Big Ten, 2-3 against the spread and 2-2-1 with the over/under total. The Terrapins are coming off a 28-0 loss to Michigan last week and a 45-6 loss to West Virginia two weeks ago. The Terps are allowing 31.8 points and 449.4 yards per game, while the offense is being held to 18.2 points and 332.4 yards per game. Brandon Ross is leading the Maryland offense with 402 yards rushing and two touchdowns. The team has had issues at QB as three players have seen time but are combining for 45.3 percent completion with nine touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
