Memphis Tigers Game Notes
Seth Henigan completed 27 of 44 passes for 287 yards one touchdown and an interception and rushed nine times for 19 yards in Saturday’s 34-31 loss at SMU. Henigan played a solid game Saturday but his statistical output wasn’t anything special. Henigan threw just one touchdown for the fourth straight game. He also threw an interception, his seventh in the past six games. The sophomore failed to reach 20 rushing yards for the third consecutive contest. With Henigan’s output trending down, it may be worth looking in another direction during bowl season, especially if he faces a tough passing defense.
Utah State Aggies Game Notes
Logan Bonner (lower body) announced via his personal twitter Thursday that he will declare for the 2023 NFL Draft. Bonner suffered a season-ending injury in late September that prevented him from playing in all but four games of the 2022 season for Utah State. In 2021, Bonner completed 263-of-429 passes for 3,628 yards, 36 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 14 games.
