Henigan efficient in win over Tulane
Seth Henigan was 22-for-29 passing for 218 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday’s 34-24 victory versus Tulane. He also had 11 rushes for 10 yards. Although he did not light up the stat sheet, Henigan did what he needed to do to lead the upset win over Tulane. He tossed two touchdowns in the first half, both to Greg Desrosiers. It caps off another very productive season for Henigan, one where he completed 64.5 percent of his passes for 3,208 yards, 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. He will cap off his Tigers’ career in what will likely be a solid bowl game.
Greene has multiple turnovers for WVU in loss
Garrett Greene completed 29 of 39 passes for 265 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday’s 52-15 loss versus Texas Tech. He also had 10 rushes for seven yards. Greene also had a lost fumble for three total turnovers in the blowout loss at Texas Tech. It was his first lost fumble since opening the season against Penn State with one. Similar to that Penn State game where Greene had 10 carries for five yards on the ground, Texas Tech contained the dual-threat quarterback and made him one-dimensional. West Virginia will await to see who their bowl opponent will be.

Memphis vs. West Virginia Prediction
Take Memphis. I don’t like this spot for West Virginia. The Mountaineers fired Neal Brown following the regular season and appointed Rich Rodriguez – yes, that Rich Rod – to replace him for 2025. Thus, WVU is in transition and I don’t know how hyped the Mountaineers will be to play a bowl game in Frisco, TX against Memphis.
Speaking of Memphis, the Tigers finished the regular season with a 10-2 record and ended Tulane’s playoff hopes with an upset win in their final game. They closed out the season with three straight wins over Rice, UAB and Tulane. Depending on their opponent, their offense can be formidable, they don’t turn the ball over and WVU’s offense is hardly intimidating. Give me the Tigers.
Memphis vs. West Virginia Prediction: Memphis Tigers -5.5
