Miami wins back-to-back
The Miami RedHawks have won their last two games to get to 3-1 in the MAC East and be tied for first in the division. Miami is coming off a 23-16 win at Kent State on Oct. 26. The RedHawks are 4-4 against the spread and 5-3 with the over.
Miami has been riding its defense this year, even though its not anything special. The RedHawks are giving up 33 points and 395.5 yards per game. Offensively, Miami has really struggled. They are putting up just 22.5 points and 298.9 yards per contest. Brett Gabbert has thrown for 1,360 yards and five touchdowns with five interceptions to lead this offense. Tyre Shelton is the leading rusher with 315 yards and a score while Dominique Robinson has caught 13 passes for 290 yards.
Bobcats pick up big road win
Ohio is coming off a 34-21 win at Ball State on Oct. 26 to hand the Cardinals their first conference loss. The Bobcats are now 4-4 on the season and 3-1 in the MAC, tied for first in the East with Miami. Ohio is 2-6 against the spread and 4-4 with the over/under total.
The Bobcats are putting up 30.4 points and 411.6 yards per game on offense this season. The defense is allowing 29.5 points and 446.6 yards per contest. Nathan Rourke is leading the offense with 1,743 passing yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for 536 yards and eight touchdowns. O’Shaan Allison is adding 475 rushing yards and two scores. Isiah Cox is the leading receiver with 24 catches for 407 yards and a score.
College Football Betting Trends
Miami
The RedHawks are 4-0-1 with the under in their last five Wednesday games and 5-1-1 with the under in their last seven games in November.
Ohio
The Bobcats are 5-2-1 with the over in their last eight home games and 4-1-1 with the over in their last six games in November.
Prediction:
These two have hit the under in four of their last five meetings. Ohio has been known for its physical style of play in the MAC for years and now it gets to host a Miami team that struggles offensively, at home, in primetime. The RedHawks just have really struggled to find consistent offense on the road. Their biggest wins have been at home, so I expect Wednesday night to be an issue for the offense. Miami’s defense will have to step up to be competitive, which should help the under hit.
College Football Week 11 Prediction: Miami/Ohio Under 54.5
