Defensively, the Hokies played somewhat well, holding a tough Clemson offense to just 323 total yards, but they were unable to create a turnover in the game.
Miami is now 2-2 on the season after a 45-14 win over Bethune-Cookman last week. The Hurricanes have lost to Maryland and Kansas State while holding a win over Ohio State as well. Miami is averaging 29.3 points per game while giving up 20 points per contest on defense. Jacory Harris has played well in three games this season, throwing for 570 yards and six touchdowns.
