According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Alabama is the clear favorite at home in this contest, as the Crimson Tide are getting odds of -35 points against the Blue Raiders. These two last met in 2005 with Alabama getting a 26-7 win at home. The Tide have actually failed to cover in their last 5 games against Conference USA opponents.

Alabama started the season last week with a 35-17 win over Wisconsin at AT&T Stadium. The Tide covered a 12.5-point spread in the process while going over a 44.5-point total. The Blue Raiders amassed 633 yards of offense in the win and had a 282-33 edge in rushing in the contest. Brent Stockstill threw for 336 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense while Jordan Parker and Shane Tucker combined for 129 rushing yards on 30 carries. Ed’Marques Batties added eight receptions for 123 yards with two touchdowns.
