College Football Betting Trends
Auburn
Auburn has covered the spread in six straight home games and in four of their last five games in September.
Mississippi State
The Bulldogs are 1-5 against the spread in their last six road games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a cover.
Prediction:
Mississippi State has been a problem for Auburn over recent years, but I like the Tigers this evening. Auburn has been more tested this season with games against Oregon and Texas A&M. The Auburn defense is very solid and should be able to contain this Mississippi State offense. The Bulldogs are hitting the road for the first time, so that should lead to some breakdowns on both sides of the ball. It won’t be easy for Auburn’s offense, but I think they can make enough plays to win by two touchdowns.
