Indiana Game Notes
Indiana quarterback Connor Bazelak missed last week’s game against Penn State with an undisclosed injury. He was listed as questionable for most of the week but will start against Ohio State on Saturday. Backup quarterback Jack Tuttle will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury, so if anything should happen to Bazelak, it will be Indiana’s third-string quarterback taking the reins.
To remove some of the pressure on Connor Bazelak, Indiana may try to get the ball to running back Josh Henderson in the running game and passing game. Henderson is second on the Hoosiers in rushing yards and third in receiving yards. He’s scored 6 total touchdowns for Indiana this year. Josh Henderson might be the key to Indiana covering this game.
Ohio State Game Notes
Two of Ohio State’s best offensive players are listed as questionable for the Buckeye’s home clash with Indiana on Saturday. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has missed the past 2 games with a hamstring injury and he is in serious doubt to play against Indiana. Buckeyes running back TreVeyon Henderson missed last week’s game with a foot injury and is also questionable for Ohio State’s contest on Saturday.
In Smith-Njigba’s stead, wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will likely see an expanded role. Harrison is second in the Big Ten with 834 receiving yards and leads the conference with 10 receiving touchdowns. Ohio State running back Miyan Williams should be able to pick up the slack for TreVeyon Henderson. Williams leads the Buckeyes with 636 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns on the year. He should get around 15 carries on Saturday and could make a big impact on the outcome of this game.

Indiana vs. Ohio State Betting Prediction
If Connor Bazelak would have been unable to play, then it would have been Indiana’s third-string quarterback starting this game on the road in Columbus because of the injury to Jack Tuttle. But Bazelak will play, and I think that gives Indiana a chance to cover the massive 40-point spread. It’s worth noting that Ohio State’s average scoring margin is +30 while Indiana’s average scoring margin is -11.6. The thing is, Ohio State has only won two games by 40 points or more this season. I think Ohio State plays it close to the vest. I think the Buckeyes win by multiple touchdowns, but don’t cover the spread. I’ll take the Hoosiers and the points.
