NEB Creates ‘Meat-Grinder’ Big Ten
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) – Nebraska will officially join the Big Ten in less than three months.

This fall, the Huskers will have one of the toughest roads to the first Big Ten championship game. Including nonconference games, the Huskers will face 11 teams they didn’t play last season.
Nebraska plays in the Big Ten’s Legends Division, along with Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota and Northwestern.
Wildcats coach Pat Fitzgerald calls the new schedule a meat-grinder.
