Toa Taua rushed for 31 yards on 17 attempts Saturday as Nevada fell to Iowa 27-0. Taua has been able to find success in two games this season, but has struggled in the other two. In the first and third games of the season, the senior rushed for 109 yards and 101 yards respectively. However, Taua rushed for 36 yards Week 1 and just 31 yards in Week 3. The graduate student has found success in the past, but he will have to start providing more consistent results for his team if he wants to become a more reliable player.
Air Force Falcons Game Notes
Haaziq Daniels completed 7-of-14 passes for 101 yards and two touchdowns Friday as Air Force fell to Wyoming 17-14. Daniels threw for eight yards Week 2 and no touchdowns, but he found a lot more success against Wyoming despite the team’s loss. His stats Friday closely resembled those of the the first game against Northern Iowa when Daniels totaled 109 yards and one touchdown, and he will need to continue this type of performances heading into the game against Nevada on Friday.
