Falcon Stadium, Usaf Academy, CO

9:30 p.m. ET, Friday, November 20, 2020

New Mexico Lobos Game Notes

New Mexico redshirt sophomore QB Trae Hall completed 17-of-32 passing for 195 yards with an interception in a 27-20 loss on Saturday to Nevada. Hall (6’2/188) made the start in place of Tevaka Tuioti, who was ruled out with a concussion. The signal-caller wasn’t terrible on Saturday, but accuracy was an issue against the Nevada secondary, and he was unable to make enough plays downfield for the Lobos to pick up their first win of the 2020 season. If Tuioti is healthy, he’s likely the starter next Thursday against Air Force, but if not, it’ll likely be Hall back under center.

Air Force Falcons Game Notes

Air Force junior QB Warren Bryan completed 3-of-6 passes for 38 yards and ran for 87 yards on 19 carries in a 49-30 loss to Boise State. Bryan was forced into action after Haaziq Daniels was forced out of action with a shoulder injury. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound junior wasn’t bad and showed the ability to make plays with his legs; as seen in that rushing total. It wouldn’t have mattered who was at quarterback for the Falcons, as their defense couldn’t stop anyone/anything for the Broncos on Saturday. If Daniels is unable to play next Saturday, Bryan will be under center for their matchup with Army.

New Mexico vs. Air Force Betting Prediction

The Falcons, meanwhile, are winless against the number in their last four games following a double-digit loss at home, are 4-11 against the spread in their last 15 games versus an opponent with a losing record and are 10-22-1 at the betting window in their last 33 conference games.
