Northwestern Wildcats Game Notes
Northwestern redshirt senior QB Peyton Ramsey completed 16-of-27 passes for 169 yards and a 2-to-2 ratio in a 21-13 victory over Nebraska on Saturday. Ramsey (6’2/220) had some ups and downs, tossing two costly interceptions that led to scores but also throwing two touchdown passes to advance the Wildcats to 3-0 in the Big Ten for the first time since 2000. His biggest play came on a 10-yard strike to Riley Lees, who caught a short crossing pass at the five yard line, spun against the grain and reached over the goal line for the impressive 10-yard touchdown reception. He did throw an objectively terrible interception to Myles Farmer, who returned the pick all the way to the four yard line setting up a Dedrick Mills touchdown. Northwestern has already matched their three win total from 2019 and will try to make if four in a row next week against Purdue.
Purdue Boilermakers Game Notes
According to Purdue HC Jeff Brohm, redshirt sophomore WR Rondale Moore (undisclosed) is a game-time decision for Saturday’s game against Northwestern. It is still not entirely clear why Moore is has been out for the past few weeks, but he does not yet look sure to return this week. Brohm said that Moore, as well as a few other players, would be game-time decision, but made no further comment on how close Moore or any of the other players actually are towards being 100%. Moore (5’9/180) has not played in a game since the end of September last year.
