Notre Dame Fighting Irish Game Notes
Notre Dame running backs Kyren Williams (undisclosed) and C’Bo Flemister (undisclosed) are both expected to be available for Friday’s game against North Carolina. Both Williams and Flemister were banged up during Notre Dame’s most recent game, a November 14 win at Boston College, with the former sitting out the second half for precautionary reasons. The Fighting Irish had this past weekend off, and the additional rest time seems to have paid dividends for the team’s top two running backs. They’ll be good to go for Friday’s game against the Tar Heels.
North Carolina Tar Heels Game Notes
North Carolina sophomore CB Storm Duck (lower body) has returned to practice ahead of Saturday’s game against Notre Dame. The Tar Heels could receive a welcome boost in the secondary for Saturday’s game, as Duck (6’1/195) has returned to practice. It’s important to keep in mind that no decision has been made regarding his status for the matchup with Notre Dame, but the fact that the sophomore cornerback is back on the field is good news. Also, fellow sophomore cornerback Kyler McMichael (undisclosed) has already been declared available for the game.
Notre Dame vs. North Carolina Betting Prediction

Notre Dame is also 5-0 against the spread in their last five games versus a team with a winning record, are 9-4 against the number in their last 13 games overall and have covered in nine of their last 12 games coming off a win. On the other side, the Tar Heels are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games coming off a win and figure to face their toughest test of the season.
