Ohio State Buckeyes Game Notes
Marvin Harrison notched seven receptions (on 10 targets) for 120 yards and one touchdown during Saturday’s 45-23 loss to Michigan. Harrison played a crucial role in keeping this game close in the first half, catching a perfect pass down the sideline from C.J. Stroud for a 42-yard score in the second quarter. However, the sophomore wideout faded somewhat along with the Buckeyes’ offense in the second half, catching four of five passes for 41 yards following his second-quarter TD grab. While his final stat line matches his usual production for much of the season, Harrison’s inability to connect with Stroud for much of the game proved fatal for the Buckeyes, as they fell to their archrival for the first time in Columbus since the 2000 season. With Ohio State now eliminated from next week’s Big Ten Championship match, Harrison will have to wait until the team’s eventual bowl-game appearance before suiting up again this season.
Georgia Bulldogs Game Notes
Kenny McIntosh rushed 12 times for 86 yards and a touchdown Saturday against Georgia Tech, while also catching two passes for 96 yards in the 37-14 thrashing of the Yellow Jackets. McIntosh led the Bulldogs in both rushing and receiving for the game. He has rushed for over 600 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while also catching 35 passes for an additional 436 yards out of the backfield.
