Ohio State vs. Michigan Odds: Latest line has rivalry game as a pick ‘em

Ohio St./Michigan now even

The spread has been bouncing around all week. Who is favored in today’s big rivalry when No. 12 Michigan hosts No. 8 Ohio State at Noon ET on ABC?

View College Football Odds

According to oddsmakers at MyBookie.ag, this game is currently listed as even, with neither team getting any points. The over/under total is listed at 47 points. Opening odds had Ohio State as a 2.5-point favorite, but following the loss last week to Michigan State and the turmoil from the players, Michigan moved to the favorite, as big as 3 points. However, that momentum has changed during the week with Ohio State showing a unified front and the spread is now even.

Both teams still are playing for a shot at the Big Ten title. Both are 6-1 in the conference and they can win the Big Ten East with a win today and a loss from Michigan State. Ohio State was in the playoff mix all year until it suffered a 17-14 loss to the Spartans at home last week to fall to 10-1. The Buckeyes only gave Ezekiel Elliott the ball 12 times in the loss, causing the Heisman contender to say he was upset with the coaches and not coming back to Ohio State next season. Elliott has run for 1,458 yards and 17 touchdowns this season and Ohio State may look to get him the ball more today to smooth things over.

The only issue with that idea is that Michigan (9-2 overall) comes into the game with the fourth-best rushing defense in the country, allowing just 100.4 yards per game on the ground. Michigan also is allowing just 263.1 total yards per game, which ranks second. The Michigan offense is also improving as of late as Jake Rudock has improved in recent weeks. The senior transfer QB has thrown for over 250 yards in his last three games and has eight touchdowns to two interceptions in that span.
