Ohio State vs. Michigan State Prediction
There’s no reason to believe No. 3 Ohio State won’t remain unbeaten after facing Michigan State at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.
Will the Spartans at least put up a fight as a massive home dog or is there a better play on the board?

Ohio State Buckeyes Game Notes
C.J. Stroud completed 13 of his 22 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns to one interception during Saturday’s 49-10 win over Rutgers. Stroud registered his choppiest all-around passing performance of the season Saturday, finishing with season-lows in passing yardage and completion percentage (59.1 percent). The Scarlet Knights’ dedicated passing defense also held the junior signal-caller to his second-lowest yards per attempt (7.0) of the 2022 campaign. However, Stroud’s interception early in the second half didn’t cost the Buckeyes much thanks to running back Miyan Williams’ record-setting rushing performance (21 rushes, 189 yards, five rushing touchdowns). The prolific passer should return to form against Michigan State’s porous pass defense next week in East Lansing.
Michigan State Spartans Game Notes
Payton Thorne went 27-of-44 passing for 221 yards and one touchdown while adding 14 rushing yards on five carries during Saturday’s 27-13 loss to Maryland. Thone tossed a season-high 44 passes for a season-low 5.0 yards per attempt as he once again operated without the help of a consistent rushing game (22 total rushes for 100 yards) in Week 5. However, the second-year starter avoided committing a turnover for the first time this season. Thorne has completed 104 of his 162 passing attempts for 1,121 yards and a 8:6 TD:INT ratio through five weeks, though he may face his toughest test yet during the Spartans’ next game at home versus Ohio State.
