Oklahoma Sooners Game Notes
Oklahoma starting defensive back Justin Harrington tore his ACL and will be out for the rest of the season. Prior to his injury, Harrington recorded 6 total tackles and an interception in two games of action for the Sooners this season.
Sooners freshman reserve tight end Kade McIntyre is questionable for this weekend’s game with an undisclosed injury. McIntyre is listed as the fourth-string tight end on the depth chart and he has only played in one game this season. In that game, McIntrye had 1 catch for 26 yards as his team rolled in a Week 1 blowout win over Arkansas State.

Texas starting tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders left the team’s last game with an undisclosed injury, and he’s officially questionable for this weekend’s game against Oklahoma. Sanders has been a big part of the Longhorns’ offense this season as he’s hauled in 13 passes for 278 yards and a touchdown in 4 contests.

Oklahoma vs. Texas Betting Prediction
It finally happened. Texas is finally back. Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian has his best collection of talent in his third year at the helm in Austin. The Longhorns are 5-0 this season with a road win over Alabama and three-score wins over their other four opponents. Texas began to pass Oklahoma last season as the Longhorns smashed the Sooners 49-0 in their matchup last year, and I think this Texas team is better than last year’s team. While it’s true that Oklahoma was missing their starting QB last year, and their team should be better this season, the Sooners haven’t been battle-tested as their best win came against Cincinnati last weekend. I believe in the Longhorns, their star QB Quinn Ewers, and the program that head coach Steve Sarkisian has built. I like Texas to win the Red River Rivalry by 6 points or more in Dallas on Saturday.
