According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Oregon is the favorite to claim the championship game, as the Ducks are getting odds of -7 points against Ohio State. These two will meet on Monday, Jan. 12 at 8:30PM ET on ESPN from AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Oregon advanced to the title game by dominating Florida State, 59-20, in the Rose Bowl. The Ducks ended the unbeaten streak of the Seminoles by racking up 639 yards of offense while forcing a total of five turnovers against the Seminoles. Marcus Mariota threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 62 yards and a score to lead the Ducks. Thomas Tyner added 124 rushing yards with two touchdowns while Darren Carrington had seven receptions for 165 yards and two scores.

Ohio State has the surprise win of the day, beating top-seeded Alabama, 42-35, in the Sugar Bowl. The Buckeyes racked up 537 yards against Alabama, something no team does to the Tide. The Ohio State defense also forced three Alabama turnovers. Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 230 yards and two scores to lead Ohio State while Cardale Jones threw for 243 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 43 yards in just his second start at quarterback.
