USC looking for an upset
USC is riding a two-game win streak right now following a 35-31 victory at Colorado last weekend. The Trojans are 5-3 on the season, 4-1 in the Pac-12, 4-4 against the spread and 5-3 with the under.
The USC defense has struggled with yards allowed, giving up 429.5 yards per game. However, the Trojans are giving up just 24.9 points per game. Offensively, USC is putting up 31.2 points and 442.4 yards per game. Kedon Slovis has played well this year, throwing for 1,625 yards and 13 touchdowns with five interceptions. Vavae Malepeai is the leading rusher with 406 yards and four scores, but he has been out with a knee injury. Michael Pittman Jr. and Tyler Vaughns have combined for 100 receptions for 1,393 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Ducks staying hot
The Oregon Ducks are riding a seven-game win streak right now following a 37-35 win at home over Washington State. Oregon is now 7-1 overall, 5-0 in the Pac-12, 4-4 against the spread and 5-3 with the under.
The Ducks have been led by their defense this year, which is giving up just 14.8 points and 310.6 yards per game. Jevon Holland is leading the defense with 33 tackles and four interceptions. Offensively, Oregon is putting up 36 points and 470.2 yards per contest. Justin Herbert has thrown for 2,104 yards and 21 touchdowns this year with just one interception. CJ Verdell has rushed for 753 yards and five touchdowns while Jacob Breeland has 26 receptions for 405 yards and six touchdowns.
College Football Betting Trends
USC
The Trojans are 5-1 against the spread in their last six against a winning team and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games in November.
Oregon
The Ducks are just 6-13-1 against the spread in their last 20 road games and 8-18-1 ATS in their last 27 games following a win.
Prediction:
The home team has won the last two meetings between these two, but Oregon is 4-2 overall and against the spread in the last six. The Ducks have been having a great run, but their last two outings have been a bit shaky. They survived at Washington by just four and then got a scare at home from Washington State last week. The Ducks have been able to manhandle some bad offensive teams, but haven’t looked so hot against teams that can actually move the ball. USC can move the ball. The Trojans have been a tough out at home, already upsetting Utah while also thrashing Stanford and Arizona. I think the Ducks are ripe for the picking tonight and the Trojans will use their passing attack to hand them a conference loss.
