Oregon loses Ekpre-Olomu
EUGENE, OR (The Spread) – Oregon suffered a big loss to its defense this week as cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The injury to Ekpre-Olomu occurred on Tuesday’s practice and was confirmed by ESPN. He will be unable to play in the Rose Bowl or in the national championship game should the Ducks beat Florida State on Jan. 1.
Currently, oddsmakers from Bovada.lv have Oregon as the clear favorite to win the Rose Bowl, as the Ducks are getting odds of -9.5 points against Florida State. The over/under total for the game has been set at 72 points.
Ekpre-Olomu has been the leader in the Oregon secondary and earning a number of All-American honors from different publications this season. On the year, he has 63 tackles with two interceptions and 11 pass deflections.
