Despite Washington’s scoring ability, will the Huskies’ game on Saturday evening versus Oregon State fall under the total?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Huskies are now 36.5-point favorites over the Beavers after opening as low as -31.5 earlier in the week. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 54 after it opened at 55.5.

The Beavers are coming off a 19-14 loss to Utah but did cover as a 7.5-point home underdog. The week before Oregon State upset Cal 47-44 as a 13.5-point underdog but the Beavers are just 2-4 on the year straight up. That said, they’ve covered in four of their six games this season, including as a 16.5-point underdog versus Boise State in Week 3.

Washington is rolling right now and will be fresh off its bye. The Huskies beat Oregon 70-21 as a 10-point road favorite in Eugene two weeks ago and is now 6-0 straight up and 4-2 against the spread. Sophomore quarterback Jake Browning leads the team in passing with 1,418 yards while Myles Gaskin has rushed for 599 yards and John Ross has 11 total touchdowns to go along with his 371 receiving yards.

OUR PREDICTION: The under is 6-1 in the last seven meetings between these two teams in Seattle and is 5-1 in the Huskies’ last six games played in the month of October. The under is also 4-1 in their last five games coming off a bye and is 4-1 in the Beavers’ last five games in October. The under is 4-0 in Oregon State’s last four games following a successful cover as well.
