Oregon Ducks Game Notes
Bo Nix announced Sunday that he will be returning to Oregon for the 2023 season. Nix will return for one more go with the Ducks after he put together a spectacular inaugural season in 2022. The Auburn transfer threw for 3,389 yards and 26 touchdowns to go with seven interceptions. He was also very effective with his legs, rushing for 504 yards and 14 touchdowns. Nix will certainly open up next year as a potential Heisman Award candidate, as he’ll look to help the Ducks compete for a Pac-12 title and more.
North Carolina Tar Heels Game Notes
Drake Maye passed for 268 yards and two interceptions to go along with 24 rushing yards and one touchdown one fumble in Saturday’s 39-10 loss to Clemson.Maye struggled in the ACC Championship game, failing to throw for any touchdowns while also turning the ball over three times. After a very strong start to the 2022 season, Maye struggled down the stretch, throwing four interceptions and one touchdown in the final three games of the season. Maye emerged as one of the top 2024 NFL Draft prospects over the course of the season and has one final test this year against Oregon on Dec. 28
