National Title Game Odds Update
ARLINGTON, TX (The Spread) – With less than a week before kickoff, the line in the national championship game between Ohio State and Oregon is staying steady in Vegas.

Oregon opened as a 7.5-point favorite over Ohio State for Monday night’s college football title game but the line dropped down past the key number within 48 hours of its opening. Now the Ducks are either a 6.5 or 7-point favorite in Las Vegas, depending on which sports book you view.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Oregon is a 7-point favorite and is carrying odds of -115. That means for every $115.00 that you wager on the Ducks, you’ll $100.00 on a winning ticket. Conversely, you only have to wager $105.00 to win $100.00 if you bet Ohio State plus the seven points.
Those odds may indicate that oddsmakers at Bovada.lv will eventually change the line back to 7.5 and get off the key number of 7. According to our public betting data, 69% of the betting public currently favors the Ducks so we wouldn’t be surprised if oddsmakers both online and in Vegas adjust the number again before we reach the 8:30PM ET kickoff on Monday.
