Oregon Ducks Game Notes
Bo Nix completed 13 of 18 passes for 22 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 41-20 win over BYU. He also rushed nine times for 35 yards and three touchdowns. Nix helped the Ducks record a nice statement win against a ranked opponent, He was an effective game manager and really made his mark outside the picket, scampering for three rushing scores. Limiting mistakes was a problem for Nix in Auburn, but he’s only recorded two picks and has zero fumbles as Oregon’s signal-caller.
Washington State Cougars Game Notes
Kannon Katzer rushed six times for 54 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s 48-7 win over Colorado State. The 5-10 freshman walk-on got in his first work of the season, and he managed to find the end zone in his debut. There is absolutely no threat to Nakia Watson’s job, but we may see Katzer again if the Cougars are heavily favored in the future.
