According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Oregon’s Royce Freeman is favored to score first, as he has odds of +450 to do so. Oregon QB Marcus Mariota has odds of +500 to be the first while Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott has odds of +600 to score first. These two will meet on Monday, Jan. 12 at 8:30PM ET on ESPN from AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Oregon has posted a total of 141 touchdowns on offense over the season, including the playoff semifinal win over Florida State. Freeman has the most touchdowns for Oregon this year, as he has rushed for 18 and caught another. Heisman winner Marcus Mariota has thrown for 40 touchdown passes, but he needs to actually be the one to cross the goal line in this wager. Mariota has 15 rushing touchdowns this year for Oregon, second most TDs of any Oregon player this season. In the semifinal vs. FSU, Freeman scored the first touchdown on a 1-yard run and he had two touchdowns in the game.
