Pac-12 Football Odds: USC favored at home in rivalry game with UCLA

USC looks to end skid vs. UCLA

Only pride is at stake later today, but that’s probably still enough motivation for No. 22 UCLA and USC when they meet up at 3:30PM ET.

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, USC is the slight favorite at home, as the Trojans are getting odds of -3.5 points against UCLA. The over/under total for the game has been set at 62 points. These two meet today at 3:30PM ET on ABC.

UCLA comes into today 8-3 on the season and 5-3 in the Pac-12 while USC is 7-4 overall and 5-3 in the conference, so neither has much at stake in this game, but UCLA has dominated the recent series, winning and covering the spread in the last three meetings. That has to be on the mind of USC, especially playing this game at home. The issue for the Trojans the last two years has been offense, as it was held to 314 yards in 2013 and just 276 a year ago.

That probably shouldn’t be a problem today as USC comes in with an offense producing 35.6 points and 461.6 yards per game. The UCLA defense isn’t quite a juggernaut either, allowing 23.7 points and 391.8 yards per game. Look for the Bruins to have their hands full trying to stop the Cody Kessler and JuJu Smith connection. Kessler has thrown for 2,953 yards and 25 touchdowns while Smith has 68 catches for 1,217 yards and 10 touchdowns.
