College Football Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh has hit the under in eight of its last nine road games and the Panthers are 9-3-1 with the under in their last 13 Friday games.
Virginia
The Cavaliers have hit the over in four of their last five Friday games, but are 32-14 with the under in their last 46 games following a win.
Prediction:
Pittsburgh has had some big offensive showings, but the Panthers were also held to 14 by Notre Dame, 14 by UCF and 6 by Penn State. Virginia is a very solid defensive team and its offense likes to control the ball with the ground game. That aspect shouldn’t be difficult for the Cavs against a really poor Pitt run defense. The Panthers will get limited possessions and likely not succeed on a fair amount of them against this good defense. Look for the under to hit on Friday night.
