According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Northwestern is the favorite at home, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -14.5 points against the Boilermakers. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 49 points. The road team has won and covered the spread in three straight in this series and the two have hit the under in eight of their last 10 meetings.

Northwestern is 7-2 on the season, 3-2 in the Big Ten, 6-3 against the spread and 5-4 with the under. The Wildcats are coming off a 23-21 win over Penn State last week for its second straight victory. Northwestern now averages 21.1 points and 338.9 yards per game on offense while the defense is giving up just 18 points and 316 yards per game. The team is led by Justin Jackson, who has run for 917 yards and a touchdown. Clayton Thorson has thrown for 1,177 yards and six touchdowns.

Purdue is 2-7 on the season, 1-4 in the Big Ten, 4-5 against the spread and 5-4 with the over. The Boilermakers are coming off a 48-14 loss to Illinois at home last week. It was their fifth double-digit loss this season. Purdue averages just 25.7 points and 352.4 yards per game on offense in 2015, while giving up 35.9 points and 453.3 yards per game on defense. The offense has been led by Markell Jones, who has run for 634 yards and seven touchdowns while David Blough has thrown for 1,278 yards and nine touchdowns.
