Warner leads Owls to win over Navy
E.J. Warner completed 28 of 40 passes for 239 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday’s 24-10 win against Navy. Warner made his return to the field Saturday after missing the previous game due to an undisclosed injury. Although his production was not off the charts, he did enough to lead the Owls to a shocking upset win over Navy. He committed two turnovers for the fourth time this season and threw for under 250 yards for the first time since Week 4, but he had an efficient day as he completed 70 percent of his 40 pass attempts. He faces another difficult test Friday at Memphis.
Henigan throws for 454 yards, 4 TDs
Seth Henigan completed 35 of 52 passes for 454 yards, four touchdowns and one interception during Saturday’s 44-36 loss against Texas-San Antonio. He also had seven rushes for eight yards. Henigan put together his best performance of the season Saturday, it just so happened that came during a shocking loss. He set season highs with 454 passing yards and four passing touchdowns. He also attempted over 50 passes for the second time this season, both of which came during the Tigers’ two losses. Henigan has proven his ability to put up elite performances when his team is losing, although that is unlikely to be the case in his next two matchups.

Rice vs. Memphis Prediction
Take Rice. The Tigers haven’t covered in three straight games entering play tonight. Their defense has been horrible. They just surrendered 44 points to UTSA, 28 points to Charlotte and 44 points to North Texas. Granted, their offense looks excellent but I can’t lay 7.5 points with a team that hasn’t played defense in nearly a month. Plus, while Rice has lost two out of their last three games, they’ve covered in three out of their last four contests. That includes a 24-10 upset of Navy as a 13-point underdog last week.
Rice vs. Memphis Prediction: Rice Owls +7.5
