Top 25 in AP
Ann Arbor, MI – Michigan still has some lingering questions about its football program.
The Wolverines will get a chance to answer some of them as a ranked team.
Michigan is No. 25 in The Associated Press poll released Sunday, earning a spot after beating then-No. 18 Notre Dame 38-34 in a closely contested game decided in the final seconds.
With a 2-0 start, suddenly a lot of maize-and-blue clad fans are having fun at the Big House after enduring five losses at home last year as Rich Rodriguez’s debut season with the Wolverines got off to an awful start with a school-record nine losses.
Michigan’s miserable season, though, is fading from memory thanks in large part to freshman quarterback Tate Forcier.
