South Alabama also didn’t have a strong finish to its season, as it lost four of its last five games to end up 6-6 on the season. South Alabama isn’t known for being a great offense, averaging just 372.8 yards per game, but it has a defense that is holding opponents to 390.5 yards per game. If the Jaguars’ defense can limit the BG offense, South Alabama should be able to pick up some points. James Knapke will be the key to Bowling Green’s offense. He has thrown for 2,805 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
