OUR PREDICTION: I understand why public bettors are backing the Gamecocks based on last week’s results. While South Carolina pulled off a nice upset on the road against N.C. State, Missouri put together an embarrassing defensive performance in a shootout versus Missouri State. But this feels like a small trap. You look at last week and taking the points with SC looks too good to be true. This will be a shootout and three-year starter Drew Lock is more than capable of moving the ball effectively against the Gamecock defense. I like the home team here.
