Bet College Football Bowl Games

There are some betting trends working against Alabama. First of all, the underdog is a perfect 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams. The Crimson Tide is also 1-5 against the number in its last six conference games and is 2-5 at the betting window in its last seven games coming off a win. Nick Saban’s squad has failed to cover in five of its last six games after allowing less than 20 points in its previous contest.

On the other side, Georgia is a perfect 4-0 at the betting window in its last four bowl games and is 4-0 against the number in its last four games played at neutral sites. The Bulldogs have covered the spread in eight of their last 11 conference games and are 5-2 against the number in their last seven games played in January as well.

As of Thursday morning, 59% of betting tickets are on the Crimson Tide to cover the spread and 62% of the money is also on Alabama. The Tide will be without linebacker Anfernee Jennings, who injured his knee in the win over Clemson, and Shaun Dion Hamilton is doubtful as well.

For Georgia, Natrez Patrick (disciplinary) is questionable, as are Charlie Woerner (ankle), Deangelo Gibbs (undisclosed), Jayson Stanley (disciplinary) and Latavious Brini (disciplinary).
