Stanford Cardinal Game Notes
Tanner McKee completed 19 of 33 passes for 166 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 45-27 loss to Oregon. He also rushed five times for 16 yards. McKee and the res of the offense struggled for most of the game, and the scores in the second half against Oregon’s bench made the game look much closer than it was. McKee redeemed himself a bit, but the Oregon defense allowed for limited production in every offensive facet. McKee didn’t throw a pic after two interceptions last week, but it was one of few positives for the offense.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Game Notes
Drew Pyne was almost impeccable on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Las Vegas completing 22-of-28 for 262 yards and three touchdowns in the 28-20 victory over BYU. The junior’s only blemish was an interception on the night. With Tyler Buchner out for the season with a shoulder injury, Pyne has the green light for the rest of the season. Pyne gets a better matchup in the passing game against Stanford’s defense on Saturday, Oct. 15 at home.
