Sarkisian apologizes for behavior
LOS ANGELES (TheSpread) – Just before the start of the season, USC head coach Steve Sarkisian is apologizing for some embarrassing behavior.
Sarkisian and USC hosted a Salute to Troy event on Saturday, but the Trojans’ head coach was reported to be intoxicated while using foul language and addressing other programs in a negative light. The coach was then approached by USC AD Pat Haden about his behavior.
“I sincerely apologize to my players and staff and to our fans for my behavior and my inappropriate language at our kickoff event Saturday night,” Sarkisian said in a statement released via the school’s sports blog Sunday morning. “I have a responsibility to all of them and I let them down. Pat Haden talked to me after the event about my actions and I assured him this will not happen again.”
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, USC is currently listed with +1600 odds to win the College Football Playoffs this season.
