Syracuse Orange Game Notes
Syracuse suffered their first of loss of the season in week 5 to the Clemson Tigers. The Orange will look to bounce back against the Tar Heels as not much went right against Clemson. Garrett Shrader had a tough time moving the ball against Clemson, throwing for a season low 181 yards and was sacked a season high 5 times. The protection will need to improve if the Orange are to steal a road victory against the Tar Heels.
North Carolina Tar Heels Game Notes
North Carolina improved to 4-0 on the year after their 41-24 road victory against the Pittsburgh Panthers in Week 4. Drake Maye continued his strong season against the Panthers completing 22/30 for 296 yards and tossing a touchdown. The Tar Heels will look to improve on their #17 ranking and remain undefeated on Saturday afternoon.

Syracuse vs. North Carolina BETTING PREDICTION
Syracuse suffered a disappointing home loss game out against Clemson, despite the loss this seems like a solid time to back the Orange.
Garrett Shrader is a legit dual threat QB with six rushing TD’s and eight thru the air. Shrader is going to present some challenges for the Tar Heels defense. The Heels’ defensive has shown improvement this season, but that is not saying much after last season where they allowed nearly 31 points and 436.5 yards per game.
For the Heels’ they are going to be fired up to have wide receiver Tez Walker finally eligible, Walker will give Drake Maye another legit weapon to throw to. However, I don’t know how much of an impact Walker will make in his first game back. This entire situation feels like a distraction, especially with him being deemed eligible just two days before kickoff. Let’s take the points here, as I think Syracuse will give North Carolina all they can handle in this one.
Syracuse vs. North Carolina Prediction: Syracuse +9.5
