TCU went 11-1 on the season and 8-1 in the Big 12 to win a share of the league title. The Horned Frogs won their final seven games of the season and their lone loss was 61-58 against Baylor. TCU was the third seed in the playoffs entering the final week but somehow fell to sixth despite ending its year with a 55-3 win over Iowa State. TCU was 10-2 against the spread this season and it has hit the over in three of its last four games.

Ole Miss is coming off a 31-17 win over rival Mississippi State to end the regular season. The Rebels finished 9-3 overall and 5-3 in the SEC, but ended the year just 2-3 in its last five. Ole Miss was 7-4-1 against the spread this season and just 1-4 ATS in its last five games. The Rebels hit the under in seven of their last eight lined games.

According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, TCU is the slight favorite in this game, as the Horned Frogs are getting odds of -3.5 points against the Rebels. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 56.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

The big focus of this game is likely to be on TCU’s offense facing Ole Miss’ defense. Both units are among the best at what they do in the country. The Horned Frogs produce 542.2 yards per game, while the Rebels hold opponents to 321.6 yards per game. It will be interesting to see if TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin will be too fast and too strong of a passer for the Rebels. Boykin has thrown for 3,714 yards and 30 touchdowns this season while rushing for 642 yards and eight scores.
